The Sinch Forum is back! It looks a lot different but all posts and users were imported from the old forum so everything should be right where we left it.
A little update...

I'm sure you're all really interest and all, but I just have to post this. This is a post about my brother. You may remember me mentioning a few years ago that he got drafted by the Nashville Predators (to the NHL). Well, now he finally made it over and played his first game last night (although just a preseason exhibition game) against Atlanta. He played a few rookie games before, but this was the first "real" game.
He will probably spend the season in Milwaukee with the Admirals (Nashville's minor league affiliate), but I thought it was pretty cool that they at least gave him a shot. The coach has been actually pretty high on him, stating that he even has a chance to fit the Predators roster this year, but I doubt it myself. They have a pretty good defense over there this year. -
He got sent down to the minors after the camp, like I suspected. But there's always a chance he gets called up if/when injuries occur.
If they show AHL hockey on TV over there, he's going to be playing for the Milwaukee Admirals. Don't expect to be amazed, though. He's not that flashy, more like a stay-at-home defenseman. -

Hasn't done much. But he says he's happy with the ice time he's getting and all that. 20 minutes of penalties in 9 games is quite a lot, especially since he had 40 minutes in 53 games last year in Finland and the international rules are supposed to be more strict than the North American rules. I guess he's still just getting used to playing there. They've been losing a lot, but he said he's not even pissed off about it because it doesn't really feel like it's "his team" yet.
We (me, my dad and my brother's girlfriend) are actually flying over there on Christmas. We plan to catch 5 to 7 games of his games during our visit. 2 aways games, one at Moline, one at Peoria... could be too far for us to drive, but we'll see. I'm going to try to catch an NHL game in Chicago while we're there too. My brother is trying get me some tickets (through his agent I think) to the Winter Classics game that they play at Wrigley Field on New Year's Day. Not really interested in freezing my ass off, but it's Chicago vs. Detroit, and being a Red Wings fan, I'm much more interested in that game than the other possibility (Chicago vs. Calgary)."RCSoul":

I don't really think we look that similar, but I guess there's some similarities. At least according to some people. Other than our faces, we're really not similar at all. I'm 5 inches taller, 50 pounds heavier and less muscular and athletic looking. -
