The Sinch Forum is back! It looks a lot different but all posts and users were imported from the old forum so everything should be right where we left it.
I was wondering how the members of Sinch rank in terms of "techy-ness". I know that Tony and Jay do the whole Ocular Noise Machine thing, Tony seems to do a lot of mixing/producing, Dan does the website/forums (and he used to "Gary" things) and Mike seems to be in charge of the podcasts... So Dan (or Mike or Tony, whoever replies): Rank the Sinch members in order of technological inclination. Who's the biggest nerd?
I dont know if I can give a specific order, but there's definitely two distinct groups.
Myself, Tony and Jay are way more "techy" than the other two guys. Mike's been gaining some ground over the past few years (I think he installed a new sound card recently!), but he's not as nerdy as we are yet. Jamie's still a long way off from being considered "techy" or anything like that.
As far as the podcasts go, Tony records them and I edit them and make them available. Mike sort of took the role of "host" or whatever you want to call it, but it's more Tony and I on the techy/nerdy side of it.
And for the record, I did the least amount of Garying. I hosted the FTP server on my computer at home and then everyone else would Gary stuff. Sometimes I would Gary stuff from work, but I can't take all the credit for things being Garyed (or is it Garied?). I just had to make sure Gary was up and running. Gary has since gone on "indefinite hiatus."
